Then there were three. Well, actually five, but cats don’t like pictures.

Every year Kevin and I have Shawna come take pictures of us, mainly for this photo:

It’s a picture of us holding a picture of us holding a picture of us…  Etc.  Wedding photo, 1st anniversary, 2nd anniversary.  This year was three.

And this year there are three.  We had Shawna take photos of the most photogenic little member of the family (no offense, Kiki and Rue) too.

Here we are – us and Ava at 7 months old.  Shawna did an awesome job with these and we’ll treasure them always!

Kiki and Rue were quite content to observe the photo shoot from the comfort and safety of inside.

Past Photo Shoots – maternity/2nd anniversary photos and 1st anniversary photos (in which Kiki and Flo were forced to participate briefly)

  1. These pictures are so cute! I love the one where you’re both kissing her cheeks! And of course, I love the idea of taking the picture within the picture for each anniversary. How long will you keep up with that tradition, do you think?

  2. Those family pics are fun :) We are doing some in July, and I’m excited! I’m jealous she will still wear a bow. Waaaaa.

  3. oh my gosh… baby girl iiiis sooooooo beyond precious! those eyes! and that is really such a fun and unique tradition to have, the photo of the photo of the photo and so on!!

  4. Oh my goodness, I love this! Your tradition of taking a picture of you guys holding a picture is the best! It will be so neat to look back on years from now! And Ava. She is THE CUTEST THING.
